He is not merely a teacher or example — He is the Son of God, the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world, and the only name by which anyone can be saved. In Him, grace and truth are perfectly united.

We believe the Gospel is the best news ever announced: that God, in His overwhelming love, has made us righteous through the finished work of Jesus Christ — not by our effort, performance, or religious observance, but entirely by grace through faith. Salvation is not a reward for the worthy — it is a free gift to the undeserving. We are justified freely, declared righteous before God, and accepted completely — not because of what we do, but because of what Jesus has already done. This is the heart of the New Covenant.

We believe that through the death and resurrection of Jesus, God established a New Covenant — superior to the Old Covenant of law in every way. Under the New Covenant, sin has been dealt with once and for all. The law is no longer our means of acceptance before God. Instead, God writes His desires on our hearts by the Holy Spirit, gives us His own righteousness as a gift, and promises to remember our sins no more. We live not under law as a system of earning, but under grace as a way of living — free, loved, and fully accepted in Christ.

This is not for an elite few — it is a gift offered to all.

We believe that all the spiritual gifts described in the New Testament — including prophecy, healing, words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, miracles, tongues, and interpretation — are given by the Holy Spirit to the church today for the building up of believers and the reaching of the lost. These gifts are not relics of a past age. They are expressions of Jesus' ongoing ministry through His body, the church. We pursue them eagerly, practise them humbly, and weigh them carefully against the Word of God.

We believe that physical healing is provided for in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. As He bore our sins on the cross, He also bore our sicknesses and infirmities. We therefore pray for the sick with faith and expectation, believing that God heals today — sometimes immediately, sometimes progressively, always according to His sovereign grace and wisdom. We do not make healing a test of faith or a measure of spirituality. We simply bring our whole selves to a God who is both Saviour and Healer, and trust Him completely with the outcome.

We believe that every person who confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and believes in their heart that God raised Him from the dead is saved — born again by the Spirit of God, made a brand new creation, and given the very righteousness of Christ as their identity. The old has gone; the new has come. Salvation is not a self-improvement programme — it is a death and resurrection. The believer's deepest identity is no longer sinner, but saint — not defined by their past, but by who they are in Christ.

We believe in water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith — an outward sign of the inward reality of dying to self and rising with Christ. It is not what saves us, but it is a powerful and obedient expression of our new life in Him. We also celebrate Communion — the Lord's Supper — as a joyful remembrance of Christ's sacrifice, a proclamation of His death until He returns, and a participation in His life. These are not empty rituals but living celebrations of everything grace has accomplished.

We believe that the church is the body of Christ on earth — not a building or an institution, but a living community of people who have been redeemed by grace and gathered by the Spirit. The local church is God's chosen vehicle for discipleship, worship, mission, and the demonstration of His kingdom. Every believer is a vital member of the body, gifted by the Spirit and called to serve. Grace and Truth exists to be a family where every person is genuinely known, truly loved, and released to walk in their God-given calling.

We believe in the physical, visible, and glorious return of Jesus Christ — the blessed hope of the church. At His return, the dead in Christ will be raised, the living will be transformed, and all of creation will be renewed. Those who have placed their faith in Christ will live with Him forever in resurrection bodies in the new creation — not as disembodied souls in a cloud, but as whole persons in a fully restored world. This is not wishful thinking. It is the certain promise of the God who never breaks His word, secured by the resurrection of Jesus as the first fruits of what is coming.
